The system has an automatic mechanism:
- suggesting duplicate profiles - the system indicates a potential duplicate and requires user action (marking as a duplicate or removing the mark)
- marking duplicates - the system marks the profile as a duplicate, and the user can remove such marking during verification
Suggesting potential duplicates
In order for the system to suggest a duplicate, it must detect the same values in the field, e.g. the same name and surname
In this case, a marker will appear next to the ID number informing about the detection of a potential duplicate.
After entering the candidate's profile, you can see information about a potential duplicate.
You can select "Mark as duplicate" when you want to confirm that it is a duplicate
or
Delete the suggestion as inappropriate.
Automatic duplicate detection
The system will detect a duplicate if the profiles have:
- same name and phone number
- same name and email address
- same name and zip code
In this case, a duplicate mark will appear next to one of the duplicated profiles.
After entering the duplicate profile, there is an information about the duplicate along with an indication of the profile which the duplicate was associated with.
It is not possible to edit or add data.
You can deselect a duplicate if you know it is correct.
