Overview
Version 26.1 advances data integrity, standardization, and patient-centric workflows across the Hyggio platform. The release focuses on electronic certification of uploaded files, unified role management, improved handling of patient and candidate records, and expanded recruitment and scheduling capabilities.
This release enhances cross-level consistency (Site, Organization, Network), strengthens duplicate prevention, and refines monitoring and eSource workflows to better support study teams in their day-to-day operations.

eCertification of uploaded files
- Electronic certification of uploaded files directly in Hyggio
- End-to-end alignment of the certification flow, including visible proof of certification
- Adjusted file upload behavior for a more consistent and controlled certification process
Roles and interface standardization
- New standardized roles list across Site, Organization, and Network levels
- Read-only mode support in role forms where needed
- Standardization of selected eSource forms and trial settings screens for a more consistent user experience
Patient journey and status flow
- Migration of candidate data from the deprecated "Verified" status
Patient Golden Record and duplicate prevention
- Improved support for creating and maintaining unique patient and candidate records
- More consistent duplicate checks across patient and candidate data
- Enhanced merging of duplicate patient and candidate records
- Clarified access rules for merge operations
- Merge-related search results now display the type of personal card to support decision-making
- Cleanup of selected duplicate-related labels and messages to reduce confusion
Patient Searcher
- Search capabilities extended to Site level for improved day-to-day operational use
Patient Timeline
- New patient timeline providing consolidated visibility of patient information and key history
Recruitment Panel
- Easier creation and management of recruitment lists
- Recruitment panel capabilities extended to Site level
- Improved mechanism and setup for recruitment panel management
- Search capabilities integrated directly into recruitment lists
- Better tracking of event timing and profile creation dates in recruitment actions
Visit Scheduler and calendar extensions
- Unified interface for managing site resources (staff, rooms, equipment)
eSource & trial configuration
- Renaming of the eSource action "Revoked" to "Delete" for better clarity
- Restricted patient visibility for CRA users before ICF signature
- Support for local Polish sick-leave rules, allowing future-dated entries up to 4 days ahead
- Adjusted default audit trail type for eSource
- Adverse Event forms configurable from Project/Network level
- eSource settings extendable from Project/Network level
Remote monitoring workflow improvements
- Explicit confirmation of rules and conditions for remote monitoring within the flow
- Patient data no longer anonymized during remote monitoring visits where full monitoring context is required
- System and e-mail communication related to monitoring defaulted to English
Validation and history clarity
- Clearer distinction between original values and subsequent changes in visit and field version history (via dedicated toggle)
- Improved post-validation feedback highlighting missing required procedures or fields
