The ability to add and manage Investigational Products is reserved only to those who have been assigned such functions.
If you do not have the appropriate permissions, please contact the person who manages the program in your center.
You have two options to add Investigational Products:
1.You can add IP when adding a new trial
2. You can add IP after adding a trial
Option 1.
Go to the"Trials" icon, then choose "+" icon:
In the process of adding a study, select the "Additional" tab. Here you will have the option of adding an Investigational Products:
When you click on "Add product" tab you will have an option to add "Study drug", "Comparator", "Standard of care medication" and "Other"
After adding "Save"
Option 2.
Go to the "Trial" icon and find a specific study.
Hover your mouse over the 3 dots to the right of the study. The "Clinical trial desktop" icon will appear. Click on it to be taken to the trial desktop
On the study desktop, select the "Trial details" tab and choose "Add product" to add Investigational products.
Choose what type of product you want to add and enter all the necessary information:
Click "Save"
In "Trial details" you will also see the products that were added when the study was added to the system.
You have an option to delete it.
Note: You can not delete Invetigational Products, when product has some actions already logged in patients medical records. The system will alert you about it.
